Genshin Impact is an action role-playing game developed and published by Chinese game house miHoYo, Who also created Honkai Impact 3rd.
The game is also celebrating its 1st anniversary on September 28, 2021.
Played Genshin Impact around December 2020 and missed out on a lot of events during its launch in September, I came across this game by my friends who were talking about it during our chats and suggested I play with them.
I on the other hand already heard of this game around Early September 2020 but didn’t really care too much about it at that time cause I was busy with my other games and I only play games via mobile. At first, I thought that it’s the same usual RPGs as before and the same old game format as any other RPGs have.
Starting the game blind and had no idea how and why it was so talked about in my circle of friends because when you have friends who only talk about it 24/7, you can’t help but be curious as to why they like it so much. So my curiosity got the best of me and tried it. Upon entering the game I was so surprised by the opening story of the main character (MC) which is you in the game. Before you start your adventure you have to pick one of the 2 main characters which will be your playable character in the game.
After selecting your playable character in the game you will now start your adventure in a place called Teyvat. where you find yourself talking to someone with only a few memories of what happened in the past months of your life. Now you have to travel across the 7 nations of Teyvat and discover this mysterious world.
Now I don’t want to spoil anything here and just wanted to share the experience that I got from this game. It is a beautiful game when it comes to the design of the characters and the place of Teyvat. Gameplay-wise it’s quite easy to play on mobile on some parts, but using characters in the game depends on how you play and the team compositions you use.
Currently, the game only has 3 nations available which are Mondstadt, Liyue & Inazuma.
Other nations of Teyvat are still not available which are: Sumeru, Fontaine, Natlan & Snezhnaya.
Admittedly I got so hooked into this game so much that I follow every update, event, and even the new character release from miHoYo. Who doesn’t love a Husbando and Waifu in their Team?!
If you’re an Otaku you will really love this game!
You can play this game via PC, PS4 & PS5 also of course via Mobile like me. =)
