âŠī¸đĒđ¤đđĨđđđ đ´đđđ¨đđ§đ đđđđâŠī¸ marked the end of one of the most challenging years ever with a plethora of free cosplay events flooding the market, creating an environment where there was even, at one point, as many as 8 events over the same weekend.
It became harder than ever to draw, not only event-goers, but sponsors and exhibitors as well. Instead of slashing prices and drastically cutting costs, however, we decided to further improve our processes and deliver better content because, in the end, we believe you are willing to invest in outstanding experiences rather than have us produce repetitively mediocre ones.
Despite all these challenges, Cosplay Matsuri this year did not disappoint, coming in within just a fraction of 1% of completely selling out for all 3 days despite competing events happening, not only right before, but also during the event.
Weâd like to thank our special guest Munokoæ˛å as well as all the awesome All-Stars who brought all their jaw-dropping cosplay and talent to the event, creating unforgettable experiences for all the incredible attendees.
Our amazing staff and crew were also incredible throughout the year, pouring their hearts out in their unflinching dedication to create the best experience possible for the con-goers. Weâd also like to thank the amazing security and staff of SMX Convention Center Manila and the marshals from Synergy for their hard work and patience with us specially with our insistence on being particularly courteous and accommodating to the event attendees.
We’d also like to express our gratitude to all our sponsors, exhibitors, and fanfair who supported us, not only with this event, but also with our events throughout the year. We know that with the crowded marketplace of events, you are inundated with proposals, and that, despite this, you still chose to participate in ours. For that, weâre forever grateful.
Finally, weâd like to thank all the amazing cosplayers and con-goers who filled this yearâs Cosplay Matsuri with such vibrant energy. You are part of what makes the event so special every year. You are the reason why we continue to strive to challenge ourselves and improve our events.
In 2025, weâre dedicated to set the bar even higher with Cosplay Carnival 2025 hosting its own JAM Concert for the very first time! Join us as we make history once again on March 22-23, 2025 at Halls 1-2 of the SMX Convention Center Manila, Pasay City. See you there!
