A collaboration between the TV anime ” Shaman King ” and ” Ghostbusters / Afterlife ” based on the original work by Hiroyuki Takei. A special video was released with a new voice from Yoko Hikasa and others who played the role of Yoh Asakura.
This collaboration was made possible because ghosts are one of the subjects of both works. In addition to Hikasa, Katsuyuki Konishi as Amidamaru, Inuko Inuyama as Manta Oyamada , Megumi Hayashibara as Anna Kyoyama, Romi Park as Tao Ren, and Minami Takayama as Hao participated in the special video of about 4 minutes.
In the special video, Yoh Asakura, Amidamaru, Anna, Manta, and others will appear, and the outline will be explained to those who do not know “Ghostbusters / Afterlife”. In the scene where Phoebe, a girl whose grandfather was a member of Ghostbusters, shoots a beam at the ghost, the people are excited like the weapon that appears in “SHAMAN KING” and “It looks like Anna’s 1080”. In the second half, Anna can share about “Ghostbusters / Afterlife”, such as trying to take over the movie with Amidamaru as a ghost.
Hikasa said, “A mysterious relationship between spirits and souls. Fans who have supported me for a long time, and everyone who has been waiting for me to have a collaboration that will please me. I’m happy! ” Takayama, who appears in both works, was surprised at the collaboration, saying, “Two works with completely different approaches to Western movies, anime, and spirits collaborate in this way!”
“SHAMAN KING” is being broadcast on TV Tokyo from 17:55 every Thursday. “Ghostbusters / Afterlife” will be released nationwide on February 4th.
