The second production of the TV anime “Masamune-kun’s Revenge” will be broadcasted under the title of “Masamune-kun’s Revenge R”.
“Masamune-kun’s Revenge” is a romantic comedy about Masamune Makabe, the main character who revenge on the beautiful girl, Aihime Adagaki. It is serialized in the monthly Comic REX (Ichijinsha), and all 11 volumes of the book have been published. The first period of the TV anime was broadcast from January to March 2017, with Natsuki Hanae playing the role of Masamune Makabe, Ayaka Ohashi playing the role of Aihime Adagaki, and Inori Minase playing the role of Yoshino Koiwai. On April 1st, the April Fool’s Day illustration reporting the “3rd production decision” was released, but today the production of the 2nd TV animation was announced again.

Along with the announcement, the second production decision illustration and commemorative PV will be released. In the illustration, Yoshino removes the sign that reports “3rd production decision” from April Fool’s illustration, and a sign that says “Really! 2nd production decision !!” appears. In addition, the PV includes the scene of the first period of TV animation, and the new logo is unveiled at the end.
