All-anime-themed hotel ready to welcome guests

A new all-anime-themed hotel is ready to welcome guests in the town Tokorozawa in the Saitama Prefecture.

Tokorozawa has been investing and pushing to be the next otaku destination. The town opened up last August 2020 the Tokorozawa Sakura Town pop culture entertainment center and with LED anime art manhole covers guiding pedestrians from the nearest train station to the entrance, and the complex’s hotel, EJ Anime Hotel, opened in October 2020.

EJ Anime Hotel is billed as Japan’s first all-anime-themed hotel with anime-themed guestrooms that pays homage to popular anime franchises, and are equipped with high-end audio/video equipment for guests to enjoy watching their favorite anime titles.

EJ Anime Hotel has tied up with anime titles like A Certain Scientific Railgun T, Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out, KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World, Yuki Yuna Is a Hero, and Bofuri: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, so I’ll Max Out My Defense.

Included in the amenities are exclusive postcards and place mats for guests to take home some featuring the characters wearing the hotel’s uniform.

EJ Anime Hotel likes the guests to be engaged with Smartphone Missions starring the respective characters from each series. Guests are rewarded with exclusive content from downloadable wallpapers and voice clips once a missions are completed.

EJ Anime Hotel also has anime-themed meals of respective anime tie-ins for the guests to enjoy.

Themes will run for a limited time and the hotel plans to change themes regularly, expect new and different themes from time to time.
