Cyberfair Cosplay Contest Rules and Guidelines:
1.Come as your favorite anime, manga or video-game character and register at the registration area. You may also pre-register here.
2.During registration you will be requested to provide your personal information and information about the character you are cosplaying.
3.Cosplayers under eighteen (18) years of age can participate in the contest with their parent or guardian’s consent. Their parent/s and/or legal guardian/s must sign the waiver/image release form on their behalf.
4.Costumes that are too revealing (exposes private parts) are not allowed. Metal props, paint or messy props, exploding props and similar pyrotechnic props are not allowed. The cosplay organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant on this ground.
5.Contestants should be ready for a short (no more than 1 min) performance on the stage.
6.Contestants will be judged according to the following criteria:
a. Creativity – 20%
b. Craftsmanship - 40%
c. Performance – 30%
d. Audience Impact – 10%
7.The judges’ decisions are final and cannot be appealed.
8.Registration and participation to the cosplay event constitutes that the cosplayer gives the right and the authority to the organizers/staff, its sponsors and authorized press media to take pictures and/or videos of registered cosplayers and will be the sole property of the organizers/staff, its sponsors and authorized press media to be used for future publications and/or advertising promotions.
9.The organizers reserve the right to change the cosplay contest rules without prior notice.
