Lineage II October Mania Event Mechanics

Here are some of the mechanics for the Clash of the Titans and Clan Battlecry October Mania Events of Lineage II.

Clash of the Titans: Underground Coliseum Battle Tournament Mechanics

ELIGIBILITY

• Open to all clans. Each clan must form a group of seven (7) consisting of one from each race and one race of their choice

o Human, Orc, Elf, Dark Elf, Dwarf, Kamael = six (6) + one (1) race of their choice

• Open to all levels and classes. A maximum of one (1) hero class is allowed per team.

REGISTRATION

• All participants must register at the Cosplay Mania event at SM Megatrade Hall 3 on October 12
• The team’s party leader can pre-register his team at the Lineage II forums
• Only four (4) teams will be eligible to join per server [ 4 X 2 (Aria and Blackbird) = 8 teams]
• A first-come, first-served registration system will be employed to determine eligible teams
• Teams who pre-registered at the forums will receive a special prize
• Walk-in teams who did not pre-register will still be eligible but will not get special prizes
• Teams will be disqualified if the WHOLE team fails to show five (5) minutes before their match
• A waiting list will be made. The team who gets disqualified will be replaced by the next team on the list

GAMEPLAY

• Only two (2) teams per server can battle per given round
• Matches will be determined randomly (draw lots)
• Tournament format is single-round eliminations, best-of-three finals

o T1 vs T2 > Winner1

o T3 vs T4 > Winner 2

o Winner1 vs Winner2 > Server Champion

• Teams will be given three (3) minutes to prepare for battle. Once inside the Coliseum, players will not be allowed to go back
• Both teams must register at the Kuram NPC
• The battle will last for 10 minutes. All skills will be allowed
• A team can win in two (2) ways:

o Wipe the rival team’s members in succession. If no one from the rival team is resurrected before that team is wiped out, the other team will automatically win

o If the tournament ends without both team getting wiped out, the team with the highest total of kill points will win (one point per each member kill)

• Each team will have a resurrection tower. A team can destroy the other’s towers to help wipe out the other team. Fallen members can be resurrected by their partymates
• Treasure boxes containing buff herbs will randomly appear on the battlefield
• Prizes will be given immediately after the match
• The event mechanics is final and subject only to L2 Community Group’s discretion

Aria Server Champion- 3,000PHP + L2 in-game items

Aria Runner Up- 2,000PHP + L2 in-game items

Blackbird Server Champion- 3,000PHP + L2 in-game items

Blackbird Runner Up- 2,000PHP + L2 in-game items

Clan Battlecry: Event Mechanics

REGISTRATION

• Open to all clans
• Minimum of 10 members per clan can register at the event booth

EVENT

• Clans will be provided with materials for the Clan Flag-making contest upon registration (materials will be provided for the sake of uniformity)
• Clans will be given three (3) questions to be used for their battlecry
• Clans must submit their flags and written battlecries on or before 4:00 pm. Any late entries will not be entertained

• Battle cry and Flags restrictions:

o No copyrighted logos, emblems, and other images

o No offensive contents such as pornography, gore and other graphical content

o No foul or sexually-suggestive language

o No racist, sexist, political, stereotypical, or sacrilegious themes

• Clans will be asked to go onstage to perform their battlecries
• Scores will be judged according to the following criteria:

oOriginality (20%)

o Creativity (20%)

o Intensity (30%)

o Audience Impact (30%)

• The event mechanics is final and subject only to L2 Community Group’s discretion

PRIZES

1^st place- P4,000PHP + L2 in-game items

2^nd place- P2,000PHP + L2 in-game items

3^rd place- P1,000PHP + L2 in-game items

Visit any one of the sponsor or activity booths listed behind your ticket to accumulate points, making you eligible to be in one of the four raffles. Based on the total amount of points you accumulate, your raffle ticket will qualify for certain raffles as outlined below:

40 Points (Perfect) – Qualifies for Nintendo Wii, Sony PSP, iPod Nano, and Brother Electronic Labeler raffles. Also, you will receive a gift pack from our sponsors (including a steel mug and a free Pocari Sweat) while supplies last.

30 Points (Amazing) – Qualifies for Sony PSP, iPod Nano, and Brother Electronic Labeler raffles.

20 Points (Great) – Qualifies for iPod Nano and Brother Electronic Labeler raffles.

10 Points (Good) – Qualifies for Brother Electronic Labeler raffle.

Once all points are tallied, each raffle ticket is put into one of the four qualifying boxes at the redemption booth. At the culmination of the event, one of the four boxes is randomly determined and a raffle stub is pulled out of one of those boxes. Every time a bigger prize is given away, the lowest value box is removed from the random boxes that will be eligible (ie. For the iPod Nano raffle, the 10 Points (Good) Box is removed from the boxes that qualify to win).
